Terry Wallace
Bedford, TX
As most of you, I have loved airplanes since I was a kid. My wife of 47 years, Doreen, understands and tolerates my obsession with aviation.
A member of the Texas Antique Airplane Association since 1982, I have in the past served as President, Secretary, newsletter editor, website coordinator, and Texas AAA State Director. Currently, I serve as President.
As a lifetime member of the National AAA, I will be proud to serve as national director.
I’ve been an aircraft mechanic and IA for 40 years, and retired from American Airlines in 2008. Since then, I have restored a Piper J3 Cub, a Piper L-4 and a 1935 Davis D1W my brother Barry and I own that our father, Cal Wallace, bought when we were then years old.
Currently, I’m restoring a 1936 Fairchild 24W.
